Study tour for the students of FYBArch was conducted with the objective of rural settlement study of Chaukul village in Amboli, Sindhudurga – Maharashtra. On the way to Amboli , there was a visit to Menavli Ghat & Fadnis wada in Wai to understand the value of cultural heritage & architectural conservation . Third day was a visit with guided tour to ‘Konbac’ bamboo workshop and a bungalow designed by one of the staff members in Kudal. Concluding visit was to ‘Verandah by the Sea’boutique hotel designed by renowned architect Malak Singh Gill using majorly stone, lime mortar & wood. There was also a night nature trail in Amboli conducted by local wildlife expert.
The study visit to Ahmedabad from 5th to 10th January 2026 by the 2nd and 3rd year students of Allana College of Architecture provided valuable academic exposure to both contemporary and historic architecture.
The itinerary included CEPT University, HCP Design Planning and Management Pvt. Ltd., and the Sabarmati Riverfront, offering insights into design detailing, professional practice, and urban redevelopment. Students also visited Sabarmati Ashram, Modhera Sun Temple, Rani ki Vav, and the Mill Owners’ Association Building, gaining a deeper understanding of heritage conservation, structural systems, and the evolution of architectural expression.

Model making activity was conducted for students of SYBArch as part of Construction Studio, based on units- Fences, gates, Doors etc.
Ar Amir Patel was called as guest to judge and examine this models. He gave extremely valuable comments to students and showed some videos of his sites on above topics.

The farewell function for the to be graduating ACOA SPPU B. Arch 2024-25 batch was held at ACOA. The function was attended by all students & staff. Renowned architect and educator – Girish Doshi, was the key note speaker. He presented his work & spoke to students about the journey of his practice. Prof. Irfan Shaikh, Hon.Secretary-MCE Society, spoke about career paths and gave away the souvenirs to the students.

Students of FoYBArch visited Kumar Prospera as part of ABCS subject. The site visit exposed the students to swimming pool design, landscape planning, mini theater, function halls, food court etc. The visit included interaction with the project site team and a special scheduling session enhanced the understanding of design and service technicalities.
